Economic Impacts

The development of policies for sustained protection of natural resources and climate requires quantitative assessments of their environmental and economic effects. It is mainly a matter of quantifying potential trade-offs between environmental and economic goals such as safeguarding international competitiveness and the preservation of jobs or economic growth versus improving environmental quality.
