Dr. Susanne Steffes

Susanne Steffes joined the ZEW Research Department "Labour Markets, Human Resources, and Social Policy" in April 2005 and was appointed Senior Researcher in July 2012. She studied economics at the University of Mannheim with a focus on labour economics and human resource management. In 2010 she finished her doctoral thesis entitled "Employment Dynamics and Heterogeneous Labour Markets: An Analysis with Linked Employer-Employee and Company Data" at the University of Freiburg. Her main research interests are in the field of personnel economics. Her special focus is on individual career paths and the influence of human resource management on employees.
