Do Measures Before Dual Vocational Training Help?

If young individuals are not deemed fit for a dual vocational training („nicht ausbildungsreif“) or do not find an apprenticeship training position for other reasons, they often participate in an active apprenticeship policy measure (AAPM) before then hopefully starting a dual vocational training afterwards. The aim of this study is first to compare individuals who had participated in AAMP with those that had not. Second, a survival analysis is used to determine whether AAMP-effects are still present after a dual vocational training has been completed.
