Angelika Ganserer joined ZEW’s Research Department “Labour Markets and Human Resources” in November 2014 and is part of the research area “Integration into Labour Markets”. Her research interests include applied microeconometrics and empirical labour economics with an emphasis on atypical employment and alternative work arrangements.

Angelika Ganserer holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management from the Free University of Bolzano and a master’s degree in Economics from the University Bayreuth. In April 2021, she completed her PhD in economics at Heidelberg University. In her dissertation, she studies alternative work arrangements in various forms and different contexts, such as contracting out, temporary agency work, and solo self-employment.
