The purpose of  the project is to analyse the internationalisation of German ICT companies. Relevant geographical markets and market segments as well as factors that hamper internationalsisation shall be identified. Exisiting data bases at the firm-, industry- and country-level will be analysed. Moreoever, a representative survey among German ICT companies will give an up-to-date picture about internationalisation in this sector.

The results shall contribute to develop and improve political measures to support internationalisation and growth of German ICT companies, in particular of SMEs.
