Researcher careers and international mobility

Researcher careers and international mobility

A constant challenge for the analysis of human resources in science and technology (HRST) for policy needs is the availability of data and the access to databases. Therefore, the objective of this project is the collection and analysis of existing data on researcher careers and the implementation of new surveys and data collection activities. For a selected number of EU countries, trend indicators and intelligence will be developed for researcher stocks, researcher flows, researcher career developments, as well as researcher career motivations.

The project is coordinated by UNU-MERIT, Maastricht.
