Environmental impact of ecological tax reform

Environmental impact of ecological tax reform

Based on the study of the DIW (German Institute for Economic Research) on the economic effects of reformed energy taxation, its environmental efficiency was assessed using the structural represeantation of overall emissions. Specifically, the effects on the emission of selected pollutants and waste materials were ascertained. Publication was brought forward in the 1996 Environmental Report of the Council on Environmental Issues.
