Modern information and communication technologies (ICT) are an important source of changing working conditions. Recently, employees continuously increased their job-related communication during leisure time. The aim of the project is to investigate the impact of this increase on work-family conflicts and other measures of job quality. With a panel of linked employer-employee data intra-individual changes in communication behavior over a long period can be observed. The results will indicate the average long-term effects of an increase in the extensive and intensive margin. Effect heterogeneity will also be considered.
