Transfer of Research Results and Knowledge in the Context of European R&I Policies

The aim of this study is to describe Research and Innovation (R&I) policies in the European Research Area based on various quantitative indicators and qualitative aspects, and to analyse the impacts of European R&I policies on the transfer of research results and knowledge in Germany as well as in Europe. In addition, the study discusses a number of challenges for European R&I policy in general and for a transfer-oriented policy in particular.
