The project aims to analyse

  1. the direct and indirect contribution of creative industries to the Austrian economy in terms of value added and employment;
  2. the role of the creative industry for the private business enterprise sector in terms of motivations, expectations, barriers and results of co-operation with creative industry and the use of creative inputs, as well as the conditions needed to use creative inputs more intensively;
  3. the role of creative industry for public bodies with respect to the significance of creative inputs in different types of public institutions in Austria today (public administration, education, health, public support institutions, public enterprises), and potentials, barriers and approaches for increasing public demand for creative inputs.
