This project develops and employs forecasting models for the chemical industry in Belgium, Brazil, China, Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, South Korea, Taiwan and the U.S. Furthermore, aggregates for the World, Industrial Countries, Western Europe and Asia are constructed. Project work builds on time series methods, in particular from the class of vector autoregressive models.
