YES! – Young Economic Summit: Regional Qualification South-West

Our society is faced with a variety of serious challenges, such as digitalisation, sustainable development and political populism. The YES! – Young Economic Summit is offering dedicated and highly motivated young people a platform to present their own creative and innovative ideas on how these problems might be solved.

YES! is a joint project of the German National Library of Economics (ZBW) – Leibniz Information Centre for Economics and the Joachim Herz Stiftung under the patronage of the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Brigitte Zypries. Twenty teams of high school students from six different Federal States are working on solutions for the most pressing issues of our time. The Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) is supporting participants in the South-West region as a research partner.

At the regional qualification round held at ZEW, the YES! teams from the region will present their solutions and vote for the best ideas to decide which teams get to represent the region at the national final in Kiel in September.

More information can be found on the YES! website

Only registered YES! project groups and spectators may attend. If you are interested in attending the event, please contact us at event@zew.de
