Workshop on Empirical Public Procurement Research

Workshop

This one-day workshop brings together public finance economists to discuss recent advances in empirical research on public procurement. Topics range from political economy of allocation decisions in procurement to bureaucratic incentives in procurement decisions, from firm and industry responses to procurement transfers to the efficacy of various types of procurement auctions, among others. The research focuses on the application of modern identification methods on administrative data from both developed and developing countries.
