The Economics of Information and Communication Technologies: A European and International Perspective
ZEW Summer WorkshopThe Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) is pleased to announce its 9th Summer Workshop for Young Economists. The general topic of this workshop is "The Economics of Information and Communication Technologies: A European and International Perspective". The Workshop is meant to provide a forum for discussions between young talented researchers and distinguished experts in their field of research. The programme will consist of lectures by experienced researchers and presentations of young scholars. Extensive time will be provided for discussions among participants.
The participantswill be required to present a paper during the workshop. We invite submissions of theoretical and empirical papers from economics and other social sciences. Papers could address topics as:
- Labour market aspects of ICT
- Productivity effects of ICT
- Regulation of network industries
- European and comparative perspectives on ICT
- Digital markets
