MaCCI Law and Economic Conference on The Future of the Internet

Mannheim Competition Policy Forum

The MaCCI Law and Economics Conference on Net Neutrality aims to provide a platform for discussion between researchers and practitioners in state authorities, legal counsel, and economic consultancies on net neutrality. We welcome submissions with a legal or economic perspective on net neutrality, NGN rollout, quality of service, discrimination on the Internet, and search neutrality. Confirmed invited speakers and panelists include Martin Cave, Damien Geradin, Justus Haucap, Pablo Ibáñez, Bruno Jullien, Pierre Larouche, Jorge Padilla, and Christopher Yoo.

Submission of Papers or Abstracts

Full papers as well as extended abstracts may be submitted. All proposals must include the following information: An abstract of up to 200 words, author’s full name and affiliation, contact details (address, phone, and e-mail).
Please submit papers to the organising committee’s e-mail address maccilawandecon@gmail.com as doc or pdf file no later than June 30, 2012. Proposals must be in English.
Authors of accepted papers or abstracts will be notified no later than July 20, 2012. Presenters may kindly be asked to discuss another paper. We particularly encourage young researchers to submit proposals.

Registration Fee

The conference fee is € 100 for academic participants and € 200 for non-academic participants.
It covers conference materials, coffee, lunches, and the conference dinner. The conference fee and accommodation costs are waived for participants who present or discuss a paper, limited travel funds areavailable.
