The Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) and the University of Mannheim are jointly organising the fifth conference on "Recent Developments in Macroeconomics" on June 23 and 24, 2014, in Mannheim, Germany.

Call for Papers

The conference programme will include keynote addresses as well as presentations of contributed papers. The Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) and the University of Mannheim invite the submission oftheoretical as well as empirical work. This year's conference particularly welcomes theoretical and empirical papers with a focus on imbalances on capital and goods markets, labour markets, potential output, financialstress, economic integration, international trade, and synchronization of business cycles.Submissions of papers in other areas are welcome, too.

Authors are invited to submit full papers or extended abstracts including the following information:

Please submit contributions as PDF files to macro-conference@zew.de no later than April 1, 2014.

Notification of successful submissions: April 14, 2014

No conference fee will be charged for presenters. The conference fee for participants not presenting a paper is EUR 100. The fee covers conference materials, coffee breaks, the lunch break, and the conference dinner. Please note that all participants have to cover their accommodation and travel expenses themselves.
