ZEW Lunch Debates

The 2014 elections to the European Parliament will be held from 22 to 25 May. Various economic challenges are lying ahead of the representatives of Europe’s citizens, irrespective of the political composition of the new parliament.

In a special event within the framework of the ZEW Lunch Debate Series, the institute’s President Clemens Fuest will present a paper, written by leading ZEW economists, about major economic policy challenges for Europe against the backdrop of the European elections.

The event will touch on the most important obstacles to sustainable and inclusive growth in Europe and the suggestions made by leading political parties in Europe to address the upcoming challenges.
