Education and Wage Inequality in Europe


The aim of this policy-oriented international workshop is to present research results from the first part of the <HTML>"EDWIN" (Education and Wage Inequality in Europe) project </html> and discuss them among scientists and policy makers. The central topic of the workshop will be levels and trends in earnings inequality, with particular emphasis on trends within and between educational groups in a cross-European perspective. In addition to presentations by project members, invited speakers will comment on and also discuss more broadly the results of the project.

In detail, the topics to be covered concern:
- The Structure and Change in Overall Wage Inequality in Europe
- Education and Wage Inequality between Cohorts
- Education and Wage Inequality within Cohorts
