Corporate Taxation – the Next Building Block of a Future Fiscal Union?

Workshop

The environment of EU tax policy has fundamentally changed in recent times. As a reaction to the European debt crisis new fiscal instruments, fiscal rules and coordination procedures have been established. Thus, a closer fiscal union seems to emerge. This workshop will focus on the potential role of taxation and tax harmonization within this process. Particular attention will be paid to the perspective of European corporate tax harmonization.

Keynote speeches by Clemens Fuest (President of ZEW Mannheim), Christoph Spengel (University of Mannheim) and Erik Röder (Max Planck Institute, Munich) will be followed by a roundtable discussion.

The attendance is free of charge.
