13th ZEW Summer Workshop for Young Economists: International Business Cycles
ZEW Summer WorkshopThe Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) is pleased to announce its 13th Summer Workshop for Young Economists. This year, the focus is on "International Business Cycles". The workshop provides a forum for discussions between young talented researchers and distinguished experts in their field of research. The programme will consist of lectures by experienced researchers and presentations by young scholars. Extensive time will be provided for discussions among participants. The workshop is funded by Ernst & Young GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, one of the world's largest audit and consulting firms. The participants have to present a paper during the workshop. The submission of theoretical papers is particularly encouraged.
Participants
The workshop is open to around 12 advanced PhD students at the final stage of their doctoral thesis and post doctorates within three years after completion of their thesis.

- Financial Market Imperfections
- Exchange Rates
- Heterogeneous Firms

Call for Papers and Programme
The lectures and presentations of the summer workshop are from June 28th to 30th. The participants arrive on June 27th and depart on July 1st.
