19th ZEW Summer Workshop for Young Economists - Designing Institutions: Regulation and Markets

ZEW Summer Workshop

The Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) is pleased to invite submissions for its 19th Summer Workshop for Young Economists in Mannheim on 24 to 27 July 2017. This year’s workshop will cover recent theoretical, empirical and experimental developments in the design of market institutions. Particular focus will be given to auction and matching markets. The workshop will bring together promising international doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows for four days of intensive training by renowned international academics. The summer school will include lectures given by four leading economists and paper presentations allowing the participants to present and discuss their work and receive advice from the lecturers.

Young academics who wish to attend the workshop are invited to submit a paper. We particularly welcome applications from the fields of market design and empirical, and specifically structural, industrial organization.
