SEEK Workshop on Taxation and Corporate Innovation
Topic
The one-day SEEK workshop "Taxation and Corporate Innovation" addresses questions regarding the tax effects on corporate innovation. The workshop is split in two sessions. In the morning session, international researchers present their current work on the topic. After a lunch break, the afternoon session starts with a round table discussion on policy issues, in which colleagues from academia as well as from the business practice participate. Among others, Prof. Clemes Fuest from the University of Oxford and Bernd-Peter Bier, Senior Vice President Taxes of Bayer AG, share their expertise with the audience. The workshop is organised within the framework of the research programme "Strengthening Efficiency and Competitiveness in the European Knowledge Economies" (SEEK) by the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in Mannheim and the University of Mannheim.
