The Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in Mannheim is pleased to announce its 3rd conference on the economics of innovation and patenting. We aim at stimulating the discussion between international researchers conducting related empirical and theoretical analysis. In addition, the conference will focus on policy implications of recent research.

Submission deadline: March 14, 2008.
Notifications on acceptance not later than April 7, 2008.
Participants presenting a paper are asked to submit a full text version not later than May 9, 2008.
Registration deadline: May 9, 2008.
The conference fee is € 140. For participants who present a paper, the conference fee and accommodation will be covered by the ZEW. For presenters a limited number of travel grants is available upon request. More information is available from the organising committee. Presenters may be kindly asked to discuss another paper.
