Philipp Dörrenberg is Deputy in the ZEW’s Research Group "International Distribution and Redistribution", Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA), and CESifo Research Affiliate. He is also one of two coordinators of the Leibniz ScienceCampus "MannheimTaxation" (MaTax). Prior to his employment at ZEW, he received a scholarship from the Cologne Graduate School (CGS, University of Cologne) and was Resident Research Affiliate at IZA. In the spring of 2012, he was visiting scholar at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at Indiana University. Philipp Dörrenberg received a PhD in Economics from the University of Cologne in 2014. In his research, he uses econometric and experimental methods to examine questions in the field of public economics. Prior to his doctoral studies, he studied at the University of Cologne and Trinity College Dublin to obtain a German diploma in economics, equivalent to MA.
