Niklas Dürr has been a researcher in the Junior Research Group “Competition and Regulation” in ZEW’s Research Department “Economics of Innovation and Industrial Dynamics” since January 2018. He is a PhD candidate at the University of Zurich. From September 2014 to December 2017, he worked as a researcher in ZEW’s Research Group “Competition and Regulation”. Niklas Dürr studied business informatics at the University of Mannheim, at Lancaster University, and at the University of Massachusetts in Boston, with a particular focus on information systems. He was a visiting researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, in 2016.

Niklas Dürr’s research focuses on competition analyses, market entry decisions and state aid, as well as pricing decisions.
