Helene Mass is a researcher in ZEW’s Research Group “Market Design”. She received her Bachelor’s degree in mathematics with psychology as a minor subject from the University of Bonn and her Master’s degree in mathematics from the Technical University of Berlin before completing her Master’s studies in economics as a research track fellow at the University of Cologne.
Since 2014, Helene Maas has been a PhD student in economics at the University of Cologne under the supervision of Professor Achim Wambach. From October 2014 until May 2017, she was a fellow of the Cologne Graduate School. During this time she spent eight months as a guest researcher at Yale University. Her research interest lies in the fields of microeconomic theory, especially in mechanism design, auction theory, game theory and decision criteria under uncertainty.
