Claudio Baccianti joined the ZEW research department "Environmental and Resource Economics, Environmental Management" in September 2011. His research interests are macroeconomics and energy economics. Using economic modeling and econometrics, his research focuses on macroeconomic analysis of climate policy, economic growth, and technological progress. In particular, he is working on innovation frontiers and technology diffusion among households and firms.

Claudio holds a Master of Science in Economics and Econometrics (Distinction) from the University of Essex. He also did postgraduate studies at the University of Siena and the University of Mannheim.
