Stephan Dlugosz studied Business Informatics at the University of Muenster. After having obtained his Master of Science in Information Systems, he worked as a researcher and postgraduate in the sector of Quantitative Methods in Information Systems at the Department of Information Systems at the University of Muenster. In 2008 he completed his doctorate, writing a thesis on the topic "Multi-Layer Perceptron Networks for Ordinal Data Analysis - Order Independent Online Learning by Sequential Estimation". Since October 2008 he works in the research department "Labour Markets, Human Resources and Social Policy" at the Centre for European Economic Research. His main area of research is statistical fault modelling in order to improve the analysis of administrative job market data.
