Dr. Maresa Sprietsma

Maresa Sprietsma studied economics at the Universite Catholique de Louvain and the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. From 2001 to 2006 she was a teaching assistant and PhD student at the Universite Catholique de Louvain. Since November 2006 she has been working at the labour and human resources management department of the ZEW. Her main research interests are education economics and micro-econometric evaluation.
She defended her thesis "Improving student performance : 3 microeconometric studies" at the Université Catholique de Louvain in March 2007.
Maresa Sprietsma is currently on parental leave.
