From October 2003 to August 2008 Claudia Busl studied Economics at the University of Augsburg and the University of Trento, Italy, and completed her studies with the academic title of "Diplom-Volkswirtin". In her thesis she investigated the influence of foreign activity of multinational enterprises on their activity at home employing panel data. Since November 2008 she is working at the Centre for European Economic Research in the Research Group "Growth and Business Cycles".
