Arriving from the North (Frankfurt)
Take motorway A5 until you reach the motorway junction Darmstädter Kreuz
Take motorway A67 towards Mannheim
At the interchange Viernheimer Dreieck take motorway A6 towards Stuttgart
At the motorway junction Mannheim take motorway A656 towards Mannheim-Zentrum
At the end of the motorway continue on federal highway 
Continue along the highway until you reach the traffic light junction after the planetarium
Keep straight on into Augustaanlage
At the Wasserturm turn left into Friedrichsring
Continue towards the main station
In front of the main station turn right into Bismarckstraße
Follow "ZEW" signposting
At L10 turn left
Take the next road on your right
You drive towards the ZEW, a cream-coloured building with blue window frames. The entrance to the underground car park is on the building's right hand side.

Take motorway A6 towards Frankfurt until you reach the motorway junction Mannheim
At the motorway junction Mannheim take motorway A656 towards Mannheim-Zentrum
At the end of the motorway continue on federal highway
Continue along the highway until you reach the traffic light junction after the planetarium
Keep straight on into Augustaanlage
At the Wasserturm turn left into Friedrichsring
Continue towards the main station
In front of the main station turn right into Bismarckstraße
Follow "ZEW" signposting
At L10 turn left
Take the next road on your right
You drive towards the ZEW, a cream-coloured building with blue window frames. The entrance to the underground car park is on the building's right hand side.

Arriving from the West (Saarbrücken)
Take motorway A6 towards Mannheim until you reach the motorway junction Frankenthal
Take motorway A61 towards Karlsruhe/Neustadt/Ludwigshafen
At the motorway junction Ludwigshafen take motorway A650 towards Mannheim
At the end of the motorway continue on federal highway
Keep left and follow signposting "Mannheim/LU-Zentrum"
Cross Konrad-Adenauer-Brücke to get to Mannheim
Keep right, then change to left lane and pass the tramway tracks
At the traffic light turn right into Bismarckstraße
Follow "ZEW" signposting
At L10 turn left
Take the next road on your right
You drive towards the ZEW, a cream-coloured building with blue window frames. The entrance to the underground car park is on the building's right hand side.

Walking to the ZEW from Mannheim main station (approx. 5 minutes)
When leaving the main station, walk across the tram tracks and then turn left. Now keep straight for approx. 300 meters; you will see a modern, cream-coloured building with blue window-frames right in front of you-the ZEW.

Walking to the ZEW when arriving with the Airport Shuttle (approx. 7 minutes)
Go straight ahead towards the main station, then turn right at the junction. Now walk along the street until you reach the pedestrian's traffic light between L 9 and L 11. Cross the road and keep straight.
Turn right at the corner, and you will see a cream-coloured building with blue window-frames right in front of you-the ZEW.

ZEW via Frankfurt Airport
You can reach Mannheim from the Frankfurt Airport (FRA) with the ICE train in 30 minutes or by car in 60 minutes.
Using a domestic flight you can also reach Mannheim via the Mannheim City Airport. There are direct connections to Hamburg and Berlin. For further information regarding flight schedules please check the Mannheim City Airport website.
From Mannheim airport you can reach the ZEW by tram in about 20 minutes (get off at Mannheim Main Station). You will find further information in the schedules of the Mannheim transport services (Fahrplan der Mannheimer Verkehrsbetriebe).
Of course you can also take a taxi which will bring you to the ZEW in approx. 15 minutes.
