The Future of EU Regional Policy

Project Description:

Apart from the Common Agricultural Policy, Regional Policy is the most important policy field of the EU budget. While the goal to reduce regional welfare disparities in the EU is generally accepted in the EU, the way to achieve this goal is highly disputed in politics and academics. Against this background, this study analyses the EU Regional Policy focussing on the elaboration and evaluation of reform scenarios for the forthcoming Financial Perspective 2013.
