Early Bird 2012-2016
This project develops
and employs forecasting models for the chemical industry and important
purchasing industries, namely automobile, construction, electrical equipment
and pulp and papers. The models cover the following countries: Belgium, Brazil,
China, Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands,
Spain, South Korea, Taiwan and the U.S. Furthermore, aggregates for the World,
Industrial Countries, Western Europe and Asia are constructed. Project work
builds on time series methods, in particular from the class of vector
autoregressive models.
