The research area "Diffusion and Growth Potential of ICT" studies the diffusion of recent ICT trends within enterprises. It also investigates the aims enterprises pursue with the use of ICT and the obstacles they perceive. The quarterly Business Survey in the Information Economy is a central data pool for these analyses and provides business sentiment indicators for the ICT sector, the media sector, and knowledge-intensive service providers.
