Dr. Andreas Ziegler

Umwelt- und Ressourcenökonomik, Umweltmanagement
Research Associate

Andreas Ziegler ist seit 2011 Professor für das Fachgebiet Empirische Wirtschaftsforschung an der Universität Kassel. Er studierte Volkswirtschaftslehre mit den Schwerpunkten Ökonometrie und Statistik an der Universität Mannheim. Nach seinem Abschluss als Diplom-Volkswirt war er von 1994 bis 2001 als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Seminar für Statistik der Universität Mannheim beschäftigt. 2001 schloss er an der dortigen Fakultät für Volkswirtschaftslehre seine Promotion zum Thema "Simuliertes klassisches Schätzen und Testen in Mehrperioden-Mehralternativen-Probitmodellen" ab. Von 2001 bis 2007 war er am ZEW im Forschungsbereich "Umwelt- und Ressourcenökonomik, Umweltmanagement" und von 2006 bis 2011 an der Universität Zürich sowie an der ETH Zürich tätig. Sein Forschungsschwerpunkt ist die empirische und insbesondere mikroökonometrische Analyse in den Bereichen Umweltökonomie, Klima- und Energiepolitik sowie Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Andreas Ziegler ist Research Associate des ZEW. Er kooperiert besonders eng mit dem Forschungsbereich "Umwelt- und Ressourcenökonomik, Umweltmanagement".
